El 25 de julio es el tercer y último día para visionar el conjunto de sesiones que el Walter Reader Theater de New York organiza para mostrar los filmes experimentales más representativos del siglo XXI. Bajo el título “A Decade in the Dark—Avant-Garde Film and Video 2000-2009.”, la revista Film Comment realizó, recientemente, una encuesta a críticos, programadores y profesores especializados -mayoritariamente norteamericanos-, a partir de la cual se configuraron tres listados sobre las películas y los cineastas más destacados de la década. Los títulos seleccionados se han distribuido a lo largo de seis sesiones que forman el conjunto de la programación. Tras la proyección del día 11 -que contó con la presencia de David Gatten y Jean Liotta- y la del 18 de julio, se presenta una última sesión que incluye piezas de Kevin Everson, Travis Wilkerson, Stephanie Barber y Leslie Thornton, entre otros.
