Haverhill Experimental Film Festival 2015

El viernes 18 de septiembre empieza la tercera edición del Haverhill Experimental Film Festival. A lo largo de tres días esta localidad de Massachusetts (Estados Unidos) acoge uno de las muestra emergentes del cine experimental y la videocreación actual. Seis proyecciones de películas seleccionadas en la sección a competición y una sesión dedicada a mostrar las piezas de los miembros del jurado –los cineastas Lori Felker y Steve Cossman– son los principales alicientes de esta nueva edición. Los directores y programadores Brendan y Jeremy Smyth han decidido incluir un conjunto de piezas que se sitúan entre la animación heterodoxa, la autobiografía ensayística, el cine matérico, el documento etnográfico y la apropiación videográfica, entre muchas otras tendencias relativas a la esfera del cine y el vídeo de artistas.
