Haverhill Experimental Film Festival 2014

El 29 de mayo se inaugura la segunda edición del Haverhill Experimental Film Festival de Massachusetts. Tras la edición de 2013 –que ya anunciamos en su momento– los organizadores han decidido hacer una selección representativa de la investigación artística actual alrededor de la imagen en movimiento. Para hacerlo han escogido cuarenta piezas que se proyectarán en la sección competitiva. Entre las películas seleccionadas se encuentran algunos de las últimas realizaciones de Tomonari Nishikawa y Stephen Broomer, dos de los nombres a editar en el sello Angular. Entre las actividades paralelas se hallan proyecciones de los filmes de los miembros del jurado (Robert Todd y Soda_Jerk), un directo fílmico de Chit Chat, un programa de piezas de Jodie Mack, la presentación de un documental reciente de Georg Koszulinski y seis películas que se mostrarán como instalación a lo largo de todos las jornadas del festival. Entre ellas estará presente Triple exposición, un trabajo de diez minutos filmado por uno mismo, con tres carretes Tri-X empalmados uno detrás de otro, sin ningún tipo de edición digital ni añadido sonoro.
